The presentation began with a short history of Marco and its origins. A brief description followed of the hydraulic system of a tuna vessel and the main deck equipment on such vessels. Finally, photos of old and modern tuna vessels were shown and discussed. The close attention paid by students and their high level of participation made this a highly interesting session for them and for the Marco personnel.
