Description

The project covers the design, manufacturing and installation of the deck equipment and hydraulic system for the Teraaka tuna vessel, built at the Daesun shipyard for Dongwon in Korea. Stand-out deck equipment installed includes the Marco WS-567 purse seine winch and the Marco PB-78 power block, plus a whole range of auxiliary deck winches, deck cranes, a purse davit and a corkline stacker.

Noteworthy new features include the installation of a variable flow hydraulic power unit which consumes less power than conventional hydraulic power systems.

With over 400 units on tuna vessels all over the world, Marco technology leads the field in complete systems for purse-seiners.
