+34 94 674 50 00MARCO has supplied a new PB-28 power block to Pelagic Fisheries Inc, based in Newport (Oregon – USA). The equipment will replace Widgeon vessel´s existing power block. The Widgeon, a small fishing vessel, is 17 meters long and is dedicated to albacore tuna fishing.
The new Powerblock PB-28 belongs to MARCO´s power block range for small purse seiners. With a sheave diameter of 28”, the equipment ensures a faster and more direct net hauling. It´s exclusive design extends equipment´s life and facilitates equipment´s maintenance.
The MARCO Puretic Power Block revolutionized purse seine fishing and have become an industry´s standard with over 20,000 units in operation in purse seiners across the world. Marco Puretic Power Blocks come in a wide variety of models with sheave diameters from 19" to 90". The company has supplied a wide variety of Power Blocks to different ship owners worldwide during the past months.
