Marco to supply a new power block for the Marpesca Group

Marco is to supply a new PB-64 power block to the Marpesca group, one of Panama's largest companies, having supplied similar units for its Julie L and Tunapesca vessels in 2014.

The power block, to be installed on the Pescatún I, will be completely rubberised and will have a power grip for better net hauling. Its exclusive design ensures faster and more direct net hauling, with less wear than with other methods.

Marco designed this intermediary-sized model of power block especially to meet the specific needs of the Pacific vessels.

Marco's Puretic Power Block haulers revolutionised purse-seine fishing and there are now over 20,000 units in operation in purse seiners across the world.
