MARCO will supply 2 new PB-56 Power Blocks to Arrendadora Augusta.

MARCO will supply 2 new Power Blocks PB-56 for Arrendadora Augusta ship owner in Panama. MARCO will replace Tiuna and Lautaro tuna vessel´s existing power blocks and completed vessel´s deck equipment renewal process which was started a few years ago with their purse seine winches replacement by MARCO.

The PB-56 Power Block includes a stainless-steel sheave with replaceable rubber cleats which increases equipment lifetime and ensures an easier maintenance of the equipment. This Power Block model includes MARCO´s exclusive "Power Grip" which allows to reduce net slippage during hauling.

Arrendadora Augusta´s Tiuna and Lautaro tuna vessel´s were built in the earlies 80s in United States´ Campbell and Martinac shipyards. With a 13 meters beam and a vessel length greater than 60 meters, each vessel´s fish hold capacity is bigger than 1200 m³.
