MARCO will supply a new Marvac fish pump to Frabelle Group

MARCO will supply a new MARVAC PC-180 fish pump to Newport Fishing Corporation, part of Frabelle Group one of the most important shipowners in Philippines. The new fish pump will be used for fast and safe fish unloading from company’s different sardine vessels.

The MARVAC PC-180 fish pump, with a pumping flow up to 180 m3 and a 30-kW power consumption, thanks to their positive displacement operating principle ensures a continuous fish suction and discharge, thus reducing handling, and speeding up operations. The fish pump specific configuration minimises fish damage as well as ensure a cleaner return water.

The MARVAC fish pumps had been designed to consume less power than conventional fish pumps and are cheaper to install and maintain, making them the best option on the market for fish pumping.

This is the 2^nd contract awarded by Frabelle Group to MARCO in 2020, which highlights the Philippian ship owner´s trust on MARCO technology as well as reinforces company´s market leadership in the Asia Pacific. Both companies had been collaborating during the past years incorporating different MARCO´s deck and fish equipment on Frabelle´s several purse seiners.
