MARCO will supply additional deck equipment to Gijon purse seiner

MARCO will supply an additional winch to the Gijon tuna vessel. The purse seiner was fully equipped with MARCO deck machinery, including MARCO´s WS-587 purse seine winch and PB-56 Power Block. Vessel´s entire hydraulic system was also designed and manufactured by MARCO.

The new equipment is a MARCO WG-030 corkline winch and will replace the current winch that was damaged in the fire that the ship suffered this summer.

The Gijon purse seiner is an Armon Gijon Shipyard construction and is 79.05 meters long with a 13.65 meters beam and a fish hold volume of 1600 m3.
