TH COMPANY repairs and upgrades the Bunker Bay tanker

TH COMPANY has successfully completed the repairs works to refit the Bunker Bay vessel, owned by Suardiaz Group. The repairs works were carried out by the staff of TH COMPANY office in Vigo and included the following range of tasks:

- Replacement of vessel´s valves manual actuators by pneumatic actuators, that will be remotely controlled from vessel´s bridge allowing valves opening / closing sequence automation.

- Pneumatic circuit and control panel design and implementation.

- Hydraulic group design and implementation.

- Hydraulic system design & implementation for hydraulic drive of stern crane.


The "Bunker Bay" is an oil / chemical tanker, recently acquired by Suardiaz Group, which will be used for fuel supply. Previously named as "Leeni", "NST Leoni", "Leoni Theresa" and “Katja S ", the tanker is 90 meters long with a 15 meters beam and is powered by two Wärtsila 6L20C2 engines, of 1,080 kW each.

TH COMPANY recently opened in Vigo to provide a closer and a better service to its customers. With a 650 m² workshop and strategically located at the port of Vigo close to the shipyards and main repair areas, the company offers repair and maintenance services, technical assistance, original spares and hydraulic components for the tuna fishing, trawling and shipbuilding and repair industries.
