TH COMPANY will refit Chuyito XXX sardine vessel

TH COMPANY has been awarded with a new contract in Mexico to refit Chuyito XXX sardine vessel, owned by Pesquera Siglo SA de CV. Specifically, TH COMPANY will be in charge of designing, manufacturing and implementing vessel´s new hydraulic system, which will allow to increase deck equipment operation efficiency, as well as reduce vessel´s energy consumption.

Project scope includes the whole hydraulic system refurbishment, including hydraulic directional control valves and oil tank replacement, piping replacement, as well as implementation of 2 new control consoles.

In order to avoid any impact on fishery´s annual catch, works will be carried during sardine fishing ban at Eco Ship Replacement works In order to prevent the fishing company from losing one of its troops during the fishing season, the renewal operation will be carried out during the sardine closure in Mexico and will be carried out at the Eco shipyard, owned by Pesquera Siglo.

This contract will help to reinforce TH COMPANY market leadership in Sonora region, where some of Mexico´s main sardine ports are located.
